Hey Jude

Well he did it. The enigma, the absolute, unadulterated arsewipe that is Cam Young managed to win and also hats off he managed to win one of the few times he wasn't put up. I was happy for him though, he is a star player and this is 100% the start of something for the New Yorkan, and read on he may just be mentioned again here.

Chris Kirk is bang in form, and that form yielded some nice profit for us, some thievery and almost doubling our dough, which was needed after some rotten luck recently (it's cyclical we've been here so many time together haven't we). 80/1 represented 16/1 return on 3pts so 30pts out 51 back, it's what we do and again read on the captain may be mentioned below.

So, TPC Southwind, for the Fedex St Jude this week, and the barmy temperatures of Memphis in August. 33 degrees, no wind, no rain it's going to be baking hot, the course is going to be fiery and fairways are going to be very small because of this. Strokes gained off the tee will be a big factor, as will good iron play, and it is a daddy course for the 70 best players on the tour.

70 turns into 50 so it is a stressful week for those on the button, but then again apart from Henley, English, Scottie, Xander, JT and JJ Spaun the top boys are scrapping for Ryder cup spots too so it's all on the line for the next 2 weeks.

TPC Southwind is a Par 70, 7288, it's a tree lined track, and a switch from Bermuda grass, and this weather will protect the course from being taken apart and a score around 14 or 15 under would be close. So onto the picks and with just 70 going to post it's a 30pt investment but on just 3 men.

In order of price we start with the comeback tale (along with Bud Cauley) of the season in HARRIS ENGLISH. His 5 month hiatus with a hip injury, could have caused some real issues for him securing a card this season, but instead, in winning the Farmers in atrocious conditions at Torrey Pines, and with two 2nd place finishes in the PGA and The Open he is on the team for Bethpage next month. He has a 2nd place finish here in 2019, he won in 2013, he is top class tee to Green and is a live player in the win market. At 30/1 with Bet365 8 places he is a proper thieves wet dream and we go 7pts e/w.

2nd up and with that win under his belt, in an absolute cake walk, CAM YOUNG has to be in most people's thoughts this week. He finds fairways for fun, he's long, he is a top iron player, but that putter is red hot and at a whopping 40/1 with Bet365 and 5 places we go 5pts e/w.

Form at this time of year is gold dust and playing himself into the Fedex, CHRIS KIRK has risen from 130th 6 weeks ago, to 61st, and he moved from 73rd last week, so he is bang in form whilst coping with all the pressures of making these play offs. If he isn't fatigued, he can continue to hit fairways and greens, his putter is the usual weakness, but he has been performing admirably and he is a gigantic 90/1 with Paddy Power and 3pts 6 places on him is very interesting.

Apologies for the late write up, but please follow my tiktok if you have access, as I do my video selections and staking plans early in the week most weeks. I love my write ups, they give depth to the work and I like getting this all done and giving the reasoning, but sometimes time is tricky so bear with me as I try and get it all done. It is free I guess, so nobody will be complaining, and you guys are my bread and butter, but just in case some prices go early following on my socials doesn't hurt.

Go well, and as always, follow the Thief!
